By accessing and using Leanly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing Leanly.

Description of Service

Leanly is a nutrition tracking application that allows you to:

• Log meals and track macronutrients (calories, protein, carbs, fats, sugars)
• Set and monitor daily nutrition goals
• View analytics and trends of your eating patterns
• Save meal templates for quick logging
• Use AI-powered photo extraction (Premium feature)
• Access personalized insights and recommendations

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use Leanly, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Account Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Leanly
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You may not create multiple accounts or share your account
• You may not use automated tools to access the service

Subscription and Billing

Free Plan

Leanly offers a free plan with unlimited meal logging, basic analytics, and up to 5 meal templates. The free plan is available indefinitely at no cost.

Premium Subscription

Premium features are available for $9/month and include:

• AI-powered photo extraction
• Unlimited meal templates
• Advanced analytics and trends
• Weekly AI coach insights
• PDF export functionality
• Priority email support

Free Trial

New Premium subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. You can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged.

Billing and Cancellation

• Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless canceled
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• You can cancel your subscription anytime from Settings
• Upon cancellation, you retain Premium access until the end of your billing period
• No refunds for partial months

User Content and Data

Your Content

You retain ownership of all data you input into Leanly, including meal logs, photos, and notes. By using Leanly, you grant us a license to:

• Store and process your data to provide the service
• Use aggregated, anonymized data to improve features and analytics
• Display your data to you across devices

Prohibited Content

You may not upload content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
• Contains malware or viruses
• Infringes on intellectual property
• Is misleading or fraudulent

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of Leanly
• Use the service for commercial purposes without permission
• Scrape or automatically collect data from the service
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

Medical Disclaimer

The nutrition data, AI-generated insights, and recommendations provided by Leanly are for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of nutrition calculations or third-party data sources.

Intellectual Property

Leanly, including its design, logo, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

Service Availability

We strive to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with or without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leanly and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Errors in nutrition data or AI-generated insights
• Health consequences resulting from dietary changes
• Unauthorized access to your account

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Use
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse or misuse the service

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@leanly.app. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of Leanly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
